5 Best tips to Make Money with FACEBOOK

There are 175 million people who use Facebook every day. If you are one of these people then it is time to do something productive while you check your friends’ status or while uploading a photo.  Because of the large number of users in Facebook, this makes this a great site to make money online. All you need is a Facebook account (and products to sell if you want to earn more) to start making money with your Facebook account. Of course some of these tips require other things besides a Facebook account. But we’re certain these will be helpful.
1. One way of earning money through Facebook is by some applications. You can earn money for every sign up, download or watching of videos in these applications. However, we must be careful in choosing the application that we should entrust our details to. Some of these apps are just after your email address, which can be sold. There are also some apps that will list sites where you can find online jobs, legit or not? You be the judge.
2. Another way to make money on Facebook is by promoting a site with an affiliate program. You can posts links to these sites on your Facebook page, and once your friends click the links and fulfill the provider’s criteria, then you earn money. A few sites that have affiliate programs are Freelancer.comAmazon.com and ebay. There are a lot of websites that offer this program so you won’t have a hard time finding them.
3. You can also use your Facebook account to direct traffic to your blog. Since there are millions of users in Facebook it is a great place for you to advertise your blog or website. The best way to do this is to create a page that has the same name as your website/blog, then display excerpts of posts that are in your site or teasers, then invite as many friends as you can to your Facebook page. If they get interested with the content then they will look at your website to read some more, this means more traffic for your site. More traffic more clicks on ads, more money for you. Plus if they recommend/liked/shared your Facebook page then there is a possibility of more readers and clickers for you. Doesn’t that sound exciting?
4. If you have a business, online or otherwise, then Facebook is a great spot to market your goods and services. Just post flattering photos of your products with tantalizing descriptions, then bingo your business will be booming in no time.  Just remember to value your customers trust and reciprocate with good customer service so that you will have a lot of happy clients, which in turn would give you more clients.
5. Lastly you can use your Facebook page to advertise your google adsense/adwords. This is a good way to earn more money from your adsense account, as advertising with Facebook will help you reach more people.
Just follow these tips and be sure to tell us about your experience with them. We are certain that these will help boost your monetary earnings, as well as gaining you new friends from all over the world.

The JAMB cut-off mark tragedy

There can be no good sounding in the recent announcement of very low cut-off marks in Nigeria’s most important grading examination, the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The entire occasion reminds one of the Yoruba word, “ijamba”, which sounding like JAMB, the acronym of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, means something tragic.
The slash reflects nothing short of failure in the country’s educational sector. The examination recorded very woeful scores but it is not sufficient to lay claim to this as the entire reason for the cut-off reduction.
Upon hearing the announcement from JAMB slashing the cut-off marks as low as 140 for some tertiary institutions, the first question was to ask if they now grade the exam over 300 as opposed to 400 it used to be.
This situation only reflects that the desire to make educational attainment has disappeared in today’s Nigeria and has been replaced by a combination of bad educational policies and a deficient teaching and learning process.
While there are insinuations that the scores were reduced to accommodate a part of the country where there is seeming educational disadvantage and low scores so that people in those regions can access tertiary education, it still remains the case that the scores are a shame and there is no reputable examination anywhere in the world where a pass mark comes down so low.
Some argue that the cut-off reduction would encourage admission into courses where many candidates do not show interest and others suggest that the reduction would encourage private universities as they would be able to admit from the pool of low-scoring candidates.
However, for both instances, the purpose of an examination is defeated when the passing score has been dragged down below the surface.
Is JAMB telling the candidates who are preparing for the next examination that with a score of 140, they can still gain admission?
Does this reduction not erode totally the desire of the next set of candidates to score high marks and compete for the best slots?
Why should the official cut-off for a major examination that determines access to tertiary education come so low?
Why should anyone wonder when the best Nigerian university is ranked 800 and below in the world?
If the cut-off to gain admission comes so low and far below average, why should the world not view those in the institutions as simpletons and the entire university system only fit for the least positions in the universal ranking?
What good impression of a nation’s educational system can be given with very low admission cut-off into her tertiary institutions?
Examinations are designed as a form of assessment to show how well a candidate or student understands the syllabus. At the same time, it serves the function of population control to ensure only those who have distinguished themselves through the exams can proceed further. The purpose of an examination is therefore defeated when you can only pass it with a fail. The pass mark has come as low as 40 per cent.
The cause of mass failure is not far-fetched. It is found in the apparent conditions of the public schools in the country and the little motivation of candidates to face their academics as it appears education does not even guarantee daily bread.
In Nigeria, before gaining admission into a tertiary institution, a candidate has to take the UTME.  The nature of this exam, as the qualifying test for the entire nation into tertiary education, ensures that the nation should instead encourage high performance among candidates and not pat low performance on the head by slashing the cut-off marks.
There is a need for an official release from JAMB on why the score has come so low. Of course, its recent remittances into the federal coffers are commendable. But how do you remit money into the coffers of government while remitting failures into her universities? This is handing Nigeria a poisoned chalice.
Some are deceived that first generation universities and other prestigious institutions will stick to high scores. However, they often end up admitting those with very low scores ahead of those with higher scores since the cut-off has been officially reduced so drastically to qualify even the low-scoring candidates.
Thus, those who can pay enough may be able to buy the slots ahead of those who could score enough even in the universities where the cut-off appears higher on paper than the JAMB cutoff.  Since the cut-off is the standard, it is not impossible to still admit using it while beaming the use of higher scores to the public.
This JAMB tragic cut-off encourages in great ways corruption in the admission process. The danger in the cut-off reduction is that it further paves the way for admission racketeering as several would be able to gain admission ahead of those with higher scores once they make the cut-off and can produce the needed cash to see them through the rest of the admission process.

UPDATED: JAMB releases results of 1.7m candidates, blacklists 116 centres for malpractices

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has released the results of 1,792,719 candidates out of the 1,886,508 who sat for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations in April.

Announcing the results in Abuja on Saturday, the JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, said 34,120 results were withheld, including the results of 15,145 candidates which were being further clarified  as ‘identical twins and siblings.’
He explained further that 59,667 candidates were absent during the exams.
Oloyede stated, “A total of  1,826,839 sat for the UTME. Today, we are releasing the results of 1,792,719 candidates.
“Some 34,120 results are being withheld, including the results of 15,145 candidates being further clarified  as identical twins and siblings.”
The board stated that the UTME, which was conducted between April 11 and 17, 2019 across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was painstaking, describing it as a success story.
The JAMB registrar disclosed that 116 exam centres had been blacklisted, including a Computer-based Test centre in Akokwa in Delta State which bribed exam officers with N1.7m.
“We have recovered the payment voucher and the concerned staff are being investigated,  but they claimed that they received the bribe because their lives were in danger,” Oloyede stated.
He noted that the exams recorded multiple registrations, pointing out that a candidate, for instance, registered 23 times for the examination.
Oloyede said, “A total of 116 centres have been de-listed or suspended. Out of this number, 18  have been sanctioned by the Governing Board of JAMB with suspension for between one and three years for registration-related misconduct.”
He directed candidates to send ‘RESULT’ to the short code, 55019, on their handsets, or  they can visit "CELESTIAL COMPUTERS TYOWANYE" to check their result online.

Ronaldo throw his girlfriend into the sea as they enjoy leisure in Ibiza

Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez can be sen in the pictures below enjoying the time of their life on a luxury yacht in Ibiza on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old Juventus star was pictured playfully throwing his 24-year-old girlfriend into the sea as they frolicked together in the sunshine.

It’s only normal for a player like Ronaldo who works very hard to find time to have some leisure.

One of the players expected to play a starring role alongside Ronaldo in his new club Juventus, Douglas Costa, has today opened up on a particular aspect of Ronaldo’s game which he has been taken aback by during their training sessions together to this point.

Speaking in an interview with 9SportPro earlier today, Costa admitted to being shocked by the sheer commitment and worth ethic displayed by the former Manchester United star, explaining:

It is impossible to follow Cristiano Ronaldo in training. When we arrive, he is already training, when we leave he is still training, I have never seen a player like that.’

HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON YOUTUBE

You’ve probably heard stories about regular people earning money on YouTube and thought, “Hey, I can do this too!”. While earning thousands of dollars probably isn’t realistic, you can start earning money quickly, especially if you have a strong subscriber base. Follow this guide to get your videos monetized and start earning revenue off of those YouTube ads.

Quick Summary

1. Set up your channel.
2. Upload content.
3. Gain an audience.
4. Enable monetization in the Video Manager.
5. Accrue 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 subscribers.
6. Set up Google AdSense.
7. Market your videos elsewhere.
8. Become a YouTube partner.

1
Set up and build your YouTube channel. Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Each YouTube account has one channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will grant you access to other Google products, such as Gmail and Drive.
  • Create your account or use your existing one. Add keywords to help people find your channel. You can add keywords by navigating to the Advanced section of your Channel Settings. Make sure that your keywords are relevant to your content.
  • Your user name can also work for or against you. If it’s short, easy to remember, and original, people will be more apt to remember you. However if you are using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it on your Google+ account
2
Add content. Try to upload content that is high quality, and isn't super long. (This option can vary depending on what type of content you decide to upload) Also try to upload regularly and stay consistent with your uploads.
  • Even if your content isn't great at first, keep at it. Practice makes perfect. Try to make each video better than the last. You will often learn as you go.
  • Improve your content by either using a better camera or trying better editing software or techniques. Also try to improve the way things are filmed. Use a tripod, have a friend help you or light your scenes better. It all helps for a better end product which in turn helps you get a better audience.
  • By uploading regularly you can help hold an audience. People are more likely to subscribe if you add content on regular schedule, and maintain that schedule as much as possible.
  • Make sure to tag your videos with key words that describe the content, as well as an eye-catching description. These will help drive people to your video from YouTube searches.

HOW TO SOLVE THE “NTLDR IS MISSING” ERROR

HOW TO SOLVE THE “NTLDR IS MISSING” ERROR

Description and Symptoms
The error messages, alerts, warnings, and symptoms below are tied to this error.

Symptoms: When a computer is turned on, the BIOS picks an eligible, bootable hard drive and then load the NTLDR file. The NTLDR file is normally located in the root directory of the active partition on the first boot drive. However, if the NTLDR file is not found or is corrupt, then the loading process halts and the “NTLDR is missing” error screen appears.
“NTLDR is missing” Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.

The exact error message may vary: while “NTLDR is missing” is the most common one, the computer may also show “Boot: Couldn’t find NTLDR” or “NTLDR is Missing Press any key to restart”.

Causes of this Error:
This error has been known to occur as a result of one of the following causes:

Cause 1: Computer is booting from a non-bootable source. Sometimes this error can be caused if a computer tries to boot from a non-bootable source, such as a floppy disk or a flash drive. This usually happens if that computer’s BIOS boot sequence is configured incorrectly.

Cause 2: when the NTLDR-related files are corrupt or missing, this error may appear if any of boot-related files (NTLDR, NTDETECT.COM and Boot.ini) are missing or corrupt. These files are normally hidden and system protected, but they can still go bad because of user errors, power outages, or virus attacks.

Fixing “NTLDR is missing” on Windows:
Windows Setup CD/DVD Required!
Some of the solutions below require the use of the Microsoft Windows setup CD or DVD.

Fix 1: Unplug all removable media:
Since this error is often caused by BIOS trying to load from an external non-bootable drive, the user may try to unplug all external drives, and remove all removable media, such as CD/floppy disks, memory cards, and USB devices to make sure the BIOS doesn’t try to load from any of them.

Fix 2: Change BIOS boot order:
Alternatively, it is possible to check the BIOS boot order to ensure that the PC tries to load from an internal drive first.
To check the boot order, follow these steps:
1.    Restart the PC
2.    Press the necessary key to open BIOS menu. This key depends on the computer manufacturer and computer model. This is usually listed on the first screen that appears on your monitor. It can be any of the following: Esc, Del, F2 , F8 , F10 or F12.
3.    If the screen shows multiple keys, find the key to open “BIOS”, “setup” or “BIOS menu”
Use the arrow keys to select the BOOT tab. Move the HDD drive to the top of priority list.

Fix 3: Replace NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM files:
Windows XP users can replace the required files for NTLDR to load correctly by using your Windows Installation Disc. The files are named NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM.
Here are the steps to replace these files:
1.        Insert the Windows XP install CD
2.        Restart the computer and boot from the CD
3.        Press any key to boot from the CD
4.        Press R when the Windows Options menu is loaded to access Repair Console
5.        After this step, log into Windows by pressing 1.
6.        Enter Administrator password if set.
7.        Use the following commands to copy the NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM files from the Windows installation disk to the hard disk:

copy D:\i386\ntldr C:\
copy D:\i386\ntdetect.com C:\
Where D:\ is the install CD’s drive letter and C:\ is the Windows XP partition’s drive letter
8.        Once these files are copied, remove the Windows installation disc from the disc drive
9.        Restart the PC.

Fix 4: Change the boot-sector code:
On Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 this error can be fixed by writing a correct BOOTMGR-related boot sector code to the bootable partition.
Here are the steps to write a correct boot sector:
1.      Insert the Windows Vista (or any newer version) install CD
2.      Restart the computer and boot from the CD
3.      Press any key to boot from the CD
4.      Click on Repair your computer after selecting proper language, time and keyboard input.
5.      Select the Windows installation drive, which is usually C:\, and click Next
6.      Choose Command Prompt when the System Recovery Options box appears
7.       Write the following command and press Enter afterwards:
bootcfg /rebuild
8.      If the program finds a Windows installation and asks whether it should add it to the boot list, press Y
9.      Remove the install CD
10.   Restart your computer

Fix 5: Rebuild boot.ini file:
The next steps are to rebuild the boot.ini file:
1.        Insert the Windows XP install CD
2.        Restart the computer and boot from the CD
3.        Press any key to boot from the CD
4.        Press R when the Windows Options menu is loaded to access Repair Console
5.        After this step, log into Windows by pressing 1 using the Administrator password if set any.
6.        Use the following command when Command Prompt appears:
bootcfg /rebuild
7.        When the systems prompts you about adding an identified Windows installation to the boot list, answer “Y”(Yes)
8.        Enter “Windows XP” as Load Identifier and “/fastdetect” as OS Load Options.
9.        Remove the install CD
10.     Restart your computer
